Liked the valley but since we did't hike perhaps not the best place for us. The village is practically none existent. Perhaps October is not the time to be there. It was a long way to get there.

This is one of the quieter places in Bhutan and is one you must visit. Spectacular views, pleasant temperatures and a couple of pleasant treks for those who enjoy the outdoors. Do eat at Pelden Restaurant in Ha town if you want good Bhutanese cuisine.

Basically a very narrow valley in Western Bhutan, just about two hours drive from Paro town. The drive to haa over the chelela pass (located at 3988 meter) is a very enjoyable drive... Great view and clean air.

Risum Resort is good one. If you are travelling on budget, you can stay in Homestays - Ugyen Homestay and hospitality is good in case you want to experience local Bhutanese culture, cuisine and people.
