With lots of history around, there are things to see and do, photos to be taken. It's also possible to see dolphins swimming off shore, seals and sea otters. The street itself has lots of interesting signs and points of history. There are restaurants, souvenir...More

It was a picturesque week with our friends. Emma was very surprised and joyful. All of us had a awesome time at Marina Dunes. Just waiting for next year for my wife's birthday to be celebrated there.

Cannery row is like an old fishing town with many restaurants serving many kinds of fish. There are many shops along the way selling things such as your find in a flea market. The views of the bay are really nice at night with the...More

If you like sleazy tourist shops, this is your place. Do the Aquarium and then head south along the beach.

We visited Monterey and Cannery Row during our California roadtrip. We really liked Cannery Row, full of charming shops, cafes, restaurants... The beach is also very nice, our child loved it, so we played a lot on the beach. We spent there just one night...More

A pleasant wander along the row after leaving the aquarium. Lots of shops aimed at tourists, didn’t spend too much time there.

Cannery Row is a pleasant place to stroll, mostly for tourists and along the great Monterey Bay Aquarium, where we walked along the bay, checked out shops and restaurants, stopped into the Aquarium's little education center, and enjoyed ourselves.

Lovely walk from the Wharf to Cannery Row. CR itself Is a concrete carbuncle trying desperately to cling to the heyday of Steinbeck. Hotels, shops, bars and restaurants now line the sanitized streets than once ran with brine and fish guts. Tourist trap but a...More

Cheesy, dirty area. Not sure why this is an attraction. We walked it but could have done without it. I guess you have to do it once.

Generally I like the touristy parts of tourist towns, because they are usually quite particular to their homes. Cannery Row exists because John Steinbeck made it legendary, yet, now all it is is a straight street with a lot of little expensive shops that have...More

There is street parking if you're lucky, and there is a parking structure. I don't think the structure would work for an RV though. The whole area is pretty congested, but you should be able to find a place on the street if... More

No where near the same amount. Fishermans wharf is full of outside restaurants attracting the birds. No where near the same problem you should be fine.
