The walls of the church tell the main stories of the bible in a succession of frescoes. Education for the less privileged. A guide is a necessity to understand the intricacies of the compound.

This small church was decorated with Biblical scenes and tales of saints by a single monk. Take your time to honour his efforts to see the loving details, and get a crick in your neck from looking at the celing with its angel faces. My...More
