Our tour guide took us here and while, the age of this church is impressive, the interior is quite dark and hearing the explanation of the frescoes was not of interest to us.

Our guide took us there and we were quite amazed. He gave us a full history lesson and I was surprised that church was so incredibly decorated inside with mural paintings dating back to the beginning of christianity.

Lovely old church that has a lot of history. Well worth a visit. It is a bit of the beaten track but worth finding.

The paintings inside are just beautiful, full of history and so unique. I never seen anything like it. I definitely recommend it even if you are not religious. Just to learn about the history is worth the trip.
