Old portlands that have been restored with shops and restaurants, with hotels and condos. Pleasant area to walk, people watch, shop or dine, not far from several historic sites, including the Casa Rosatta presidential residence.

Stayed at the Hilton...an original anchor that brought back this area. The CAMBIO 100 yards from hotel gave best exchange rate we found...60, vs 57 plus fees from banks and ATMs. Great walking area...easy access and VERY inexpensive cab ride to key parts of city...$3-4.00...More

We had a lovely stroll in the warm November air before picking a restaurant at random from the hundreds to choose from. It turned out to be the best meal of our 5 day trip. You must try Parrilla El Marisol. They aren't listed on...More

We had a very nice evening wandering around the Puerto Madero. We had dinner at one of the outdoor restaurants and then walked along taking photos of the night lights and the bridge. It was a beautiful calm evening

One of the Buenos Aires districts you can't simply miss. Just walk along the canal, enjoy the views and pop into any of plenty restaurants and cafes.

Stayed here several times for lunch, dinner and in evenings for enjoying the sunset during having a drafted beer or fine Argentine vine. At least on the weekends some of the pubs had good music and life sport events on the TV as well. Go...More

Yes the port has been refurbished......the red brick buildings now house up market apartments....plenty of restaurants below......the bridge is beautiful and the float ship museums ok......the other side with it new architecture is nice.....the eco park behind is ok......but that's it .......a nice walk looking...More
