We took a short walk for an hour or so. A nice touch in the visitors centre was a display of all the plants in flower on the reserve, all labelled. We were short on time and didn't venture far. It was very windy so...More
This nature reserve was a real hit with my family. Encountering a group of baboons, with their babies, was a particular highlight, but the more sedate tortoise we came across also warrants a mention. We weren't equipped for a proper hike, but the trails were...More

I walked to the waterfall on the green trail and returned on the lower portion of the red trail- it was rainy, cloudy and cool winter's day and that took about 45minutes. Flowers were spectacular and grey skies made the colours very rich. The distances and times on the website map appear to be one way estimates at a rather leisurely pace, so would think you can do the loop in under 2 hrs if its not too hot.
