This is one of several waterfalls that form part of the Panorama Route drive in the Mpumalanga Highlands of South Africa. It is named after the German miners who panned for gold in the area in the late 1800s. You'll find the Berlin Falls a couple of km along the turnoff road…
The waterfall is located in an amazing rocky place, where the landscape is astonishing. There was not a lot of water flowing, however it is an unforgettable visit.
Not quite as large or impressive as Lisbon Falls, but a nice stop nonetheless. Small entrance fee (10 ZAR) and very few other visitors at the time we visited. Nice spot for photos if you have extra time on the Panoramic Route; we stayed about 15 minutes.
