Boring tour. 50 dollars per person for a taxi to Lesotho and back. The tour includes a visit in a village that was very bad too. Do not go there

Such an awesome, beautiful experience and completely doable. Walking up the pass allows to you to see so much more of the breathtaking scenery. I would really recommended taking a hike up - it’s well worth it.

Certainly worth the trip - the first 10km from the SA border post is quiet rocky and bumpy. Beautiful drive as you go up the valley and into the last switchbacks on the top of the past. Stunning views as you switched back into South...More

An unbelievable drive that ABSOLUTES require a 4x4. They even check at the border to be sure you have an appropriate vehicle to safely navigate the roads. It was an unpaved road with lots of bumps so be sure to either feel comfortable driving on...More

Hi, depending on the severity and depth, I understand they still do the tours (up the pass and back). I would strongly recommend you contact the Sani Pass Tours offices in Underberg. Enjoy

No. The Mitsubishi is an All wheel drive: It is not the same as 4x4. Some sections are very steep and you do need low range.
