The road trip from Sapa downtown to Ta Phin wasn’t easy as the roads were very bumpy. There are not many tourist visiting this village and it still remain its original look, which is quite exciting.

Great tour leader and very fascinating village to walk and learn of the culture and the hemp they make into fabric. They also dye them from local grown plants.

Another place that has essentially been wrecked. Lots of construction and the place could do with a good clean-up.

I felt the peaceful of this village. The houses are old and small. I love spending my life with the nature, so a week I stayed here was very wonderful and special to me.

You could walk from Sa Pa but it is not pleasant walk as it is along the main road back towards Lao Cai.

The trek to Ta Phin from Sapa is a soft trek along predominantly concrete paths, so really don't need usual trekking gear. Just be wary of the motorbikes that locals use on these paths from their villages.
