Delightfully spacious and well-lit aquarium filled with a great selection of Asian fish. The highlight is the impressive tunnels where you under the tanks and surrounded by fish.

Great for kids. Fun for adults too. This aquarium has large displays of local and tropical fishes from all over the world. Alot of the displays are actually walking through glass tunnels so the fish or mammals are swimming not only beside you but also...More

The aquarium is open until 10 pm after summer holiday starts. It's best to visit the aquarium at night. After the acquarium, there is ample time to watch the night view of the city. Note (1) There is concession for students with student cards and...More

My family visited the aquarium, on the Pudong side of Shanghai and thought there were a lot of cool sea animals to see, and some less aquatic animals as well. The aquarium is divided into 9 zones: China, South America, Australia, Africa, Southeast Asia, Cold...More

Kids will like this one. The place might be crowded especially when it’s holiday or peak season, but it’s worth it.

Too small when compared with other city like Singapore and Monterey Bay. My kid has spent less time than that in other aquarium. Lines are everywhere even on weekday so it’s hard to watch the species. Not worth every penny.

As other reviews have said there was nothing really 'outstanding' probably the best part was taking pictures at the coloured jellyfish area. Other than that not much to see.

It depends upon your own interest in fishes and other marine animals. But at the least you would need one hour, which can stretch up to five hours.

.The price per adult is 160 yuan. You can spend your time better in Shanghai than visiting this aquarium.
