A very pretty place with a lot of history. This is where Austrians and Turks signed a peace treaty and where Serbian Orthodox Church was centered. Also wonder history.

This is a lovely picturesque town, perfectly adequate for a 60-minute stopover by any of the countless tours in the area. The town provides a small market and several family-owned wineries.

I loved the center of this small classical Europe town. It has nice some classical palaces and churches and I recommend visiting one of the numerous wineshops to select a local specific sweet wine.

nicelly arranged centre and the size of the main representative buildings show the still existing importance of this town, its influence far exceeding only local hinterland. The centre seemed sleepy, but the surrounding neighbourhoods were lively.

So worth a stop. Great for photos, not touristy at all. Very friendly people. Easy to wine taste and stroll along the walkways. We particularly enjoyed the Kosović Winery.
