The whole place to visit is 12 ron and tou have the tower, the castle ruins and the courtyard. It also has a museum for the appearence of writing and the first written documents in Romania which is worth to visit.

This is the old Royal Court, dating from the 14th century. It's worth visiting especially if you are around.

The actual place of Ceausescu’s trial & execution. Bullet holes in the walls. If you are a history buff you will love it.

The old capital of the Romanian country (aka Valahia), visiting this place really takes you back some hundreds of years. The Church and the Chindia tower are the most meaningful attractions, but I would also recommend the museum of old books.

The place may offer you a couple of hours outside, in a place full of history. It is well maintained. Do not miss if you arrive in Targoviste.

it's worth the visit, especially since in the complex you can also find the typography museum, which is very interesting and if you pay the fee to get inside the Princely Court you can go inside the museum for free. The ruins are super interesting...More
