Visited the Attari and Wagah border flag retreat ceremony. The place was packed by Indian and Pakistani on each side of the gate, dancing to their own music. The BSF-india and Pakistani Ranger-Pakistan marched and showed off their skills and showed enthusiasm and patriotism towards...More

Wow Wow Wow. Amazing. It was my first time going to the Border. It is about 30 Mins away from the city. You need to make your way there by 3 pm onwards as seats are limited. Make sure you bring your passport and wallet...More

The atmosphere was energetic, emotional. Hats off to the BSF person who was the MC who made sure the place is reverberate with nationalism. The people all around the gallery where dancing and shouting Bharat Mata ki Jai. It was a wonderful experience and one...More

I came here 8 October 2019 and had an incredible time. It was great to witness the nightly flag lowering ceremony between the two countries. And that beautiful sunset simply added to the special backdrop. I highly recommend when you’re in Amritsar.

I found this totally distasteful. A load of posturing and flag waving at the Pakistanis on the other side of the gate. It is total theatre with soldiers doing "silly walks" and a cheerleader whipping up the mostly Indian crowd into a frenzy.

As a foreigner, you are directed to a specific seating area, which has a good view of the proceedings. As you need to be there in good time, this means sitting on plastic bucket chairs in uncomfortable heat. Before the military ceremony it's quite a...More

I've never screamed Vande Mataram in my life the way I did here ! For an Indian at heart this place is sacred. Superbly & efficiently managed by the BSF ...the Attari(India)- Wagah(P)border visit should be on every Indians bucket list. The patriotic shout in...More

It's a must-do one time experiance if you are in Amritsar. The ambience is electric. We reached at around 4:15 and got comfortably seated, although not the best seats. The stadium has a huge capacity and the event is overall well managed by BSF. Went...More

What an Assemblage of people! what loud Noise! Patriotic liners! and what great emcee (jawan) of BSF, who was orchestrating the entire crowd. The aggressive foot stamping, walks, posturing all are enough to inspire patriotic fervor in even the most dull of spirits. But beware...More

Any foreign national visiting Attari post need to carry their passport and there is a seperate lane for foreign passport holders. You get to sit next to the border fence, so dnt waste time in arranging for a VIP seats.

I think they have locker rooms for baggage. I traveled by car so had kept it in car itself. Maybe you can call and check once.
