The theatre moves as you go to each new scene. For the Grottoe scenes the theatre moves inside a large cave and the visual and performance is truly unique.

Dunhuang Theater is a NEWLY BUILT THEATER but with great traditional art of China. It is really good to visit it . The traditional dance and opera are of very good quality.

The theatre itself is a stunning piece of modern architecture with a fabulous white marbeld entrance hall. The interior was comfortable and the ballet that we saw (The Silk Road) was spectacular.
