    It's in Parque de las Ruinas and it's a bit of an oasis from the bustle of Rio. Interesting place, great views over the city, worth a visit.

    You get there by bus or tram, walk a bit and finally get to this big house. Very very interesting. I was looking for Debret drawings and found them right there. As well I found so many others I didn't know about and loved them. The price is low and the place is amazing. If you…

    Peaceful garden, great artwork, lovely views and wonderful house
    Definitely worth a visit for those looking for a peaceful and contemplative hour or two. The house and garden has great style and the artwork is deeply impressive, as well as providing great insight into Brazilian history. The museum opens at midday and is free on Wednesdays.
