Impressive collection, well maintained small castle. The Crown of Emperor Pedro is the highlight of the visit. Unfortunately you cannot take pictures inside.

It was so much fun to view the museum on slippers however there wasnt many english translations on the history and no photos were allowed.

No visit to Petropolis is complete without visiting the Imperial Museum. There's much on display here. Take your time. Look, read and learn. This is a well presented slice of Brazil's history in the local region.
