The building represents a time of luxury and pomp. The spaces are amazingly big. There is a lot of history in those walls. But, I presume much of the arts (paints, furniture etc.) were removed and this is a pity. The drawback is the lack...More

Quitandinha was a fancy hotel and casino. It's was a really good experience and you can learn a lot about the Brazilian society. Probably you will spend around 3 hours during the visit as they have lots to show. Just pay the tickets and go!

We didn't do the visit but stopped and walked around the lake area. It's a big and interesting building worth a visit. Pictures don't do it justice.

A building that housed a popular casino, now converted into private residences. Worth stopping by for a quick view.

What a fantastic building. Once a Casino, then a Hotel and now Apartment accommodation. The ground floor was very grand but there was nothing in the rooms. To me it seems it would make a beautiful tea room or cafe. The gardens opposite were very...More

Quitandinha was building in 1944 to be a big Casino Hotel, but today it is a great Museum, where we can see a little bit that what it was in an old days.
