- Robert D2,718 contributionsBreathtaking views of the fallsMost of Iguassu Falls is on the Argentinian side so walking on the Brazilian side gives you some great views of the falls. I recommend taking the walkway near the base of Floriano Falls into the middle of the river. You will get wet, but there is nothing like seeing the falls up close and feeling their power.Visited March 2023Travelled soloWritten 8 April 2023
- D. AaronsonAsheville, North Carolina719 contributionsMust seeThis is a travel highlight on a global scale. The Brazilian National Park is well organized and run. Purchase tickets (if you don't already have them) at kiosks and then enter the park through the pavilion where you can get onto a bus or meet a guided vehicle if you have a park guide. Generally this is a one way trail. Get off in front of the hotel and follow the canyon rim to the various viewpoints, ending the Devil's Throat area. We were absolutely soaked out on the boardwalks on the day we visited but it was a great experience. There are a couple different cafes and a full service restaurant at the top of the falls. The boat safari is also accessible from inside the park but run by an outside operator. If you have children under the age of 12, and intend to do the boat safari you need to do it on the Brazilian side.Visited June 2023Written 18 July 2023
- paulgray1Sale, United Kingdom544 contributionsTotally amazing and awe inspiring.A fantastic experience. It is really well organised, so much better than I thought it was going to be. When you start off, the vistas are good, but they get better and better. The sheer size and the power of the falls is truly magnificent. It certainly is a wonder of the natural world.Visited September 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 15 September 2023
- yycyycyyc655 contributionsAn Absolute MustWe caught the bus here from the ARG town across the river, a journey of 40 mins or so, including crossing the border. Here on the BRA side, there are automated ticket machines, and a long, Disneyesque queue to board a bus for the 12km or so journey to the 2nd stop. While the ARG side takes you to the top of several falls, here on the BRA side 3/4 of the single trail (which has steep slopes and steps) gives longer, wider-angle views that give a better sense of scale. For the last part, on walkways out over the mid-level, we got drenched. But this was great, as the air temperature was well over 30°C here by the water, and over 40°C at the park entrance. We were glad we visited both ARG and BRA sides, on separate days. If you began very early, you could visit both in a single day, but it would be a rush.Visited December 2023Travelled as a coupleWritten 12 January 2024

We had a great day the water falls are amazing. Be prepared to get wet as it is a rain forest.
When we arrived we were advised the path to the devils mouth had been closed since October due the path being down. Whilst it would have been good to know before hand it made no difference as views and falls are amazing.
I would recommend walking both the upper and lower paths.
It will costs more but do the rafting you get soaked but great fun!

It is not well marketed. This is a phenomenal place that screams more advertisement and tourist numbers.

Incredible. We had an opportunity to stay at Belmont hotel which gives you a rare opportunity to access the part at any time , so before and after the closure of the parc and that’s, I think, what made my impression but also the sunny day on the Brazilian side more special. Also it was the first day I saw the waterfalls in life and it’s like if you are dreaming - how impressive it is! Traveled with a child of 2 years and 4 months.
Early morning the birds which flies next to the falls in a huge amount starting to go out of their nests and when the sun goes down that when the comes back to their nests and that was an amazing experience.

We loved our time visiting the falls on both sides of the 'man made boarder' - Brazil & Argentina. The butterflies were a special addition.

Agradeço todas as sugestões! Obrigada, Ana
