Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Was there for less than half an hour. The statues there are really big and impressive, well worth the visit and the temple itself is beautiful.

💲 Admission fee: Free
🕛 Visit time: About 1 hour
📍 Directions: Take Bus 103 at “TTU - Terminal Transporte Urbano”. The temple is a little out of city center and I would recommend to take taxi ou Uber
🔁 Day tour: Buddhist Temple —> Usina de Itaipu

...The Buddhist Temple brings tranquility and serenity. It’s a perfect place to take photos and find your inner peace. Don’t miss the chance to buy a set of cards, candles and incense at the gift store to wish good fortune and happiness in the temple. If you’ve already visited temples like in Thailand, you can skip this place; otherwise it’s worth visiting.
...Take the chance to get to Usina de Itaipu from here; only a few minutes by car.

I went here after I went to Itaipu dam, which can be combined very good. From the dam I took a Uber oterwhise you can get out at the main road and walk a bit. But there are also buses going from Foz directly to the temple.
I was surprised to find such a big buddhist temple here

This temple is a must. What a place of peace, silence and good vibes. The building is well maintained by the international Buddhist order and is extremely beautiful!
