You can eat, you can drink coffee, you can shop for souvenirs and cosmetics for your friends and relatives. Always noisy always crowded especially on weekends, but it's a great place to feel real vibrant Osaka. Love it every time I visit there.
The area is a must when visiting Osaka. The crowds are daunting at first but everyone is polite and good humoured. The neon display at night is exactly what a visitor to Japan expects. Osaka is Tokyo on steroids!
