The best museum I've visited in Russia! It contains a very large collection of exhibits, many of which are the originals. Luckily, most labels are in English, too.

Just walk up and purchase a ticket when you arrive. We did. No line. I'm a "buy early online" kinda guy too but in this case it's truly NOT necessary.

Yes. I think so. As I mentioned the building itself is an attraction. And the museum itself is very comprehensive. Make the effort - you won’t regret it.
