While I knew about Ince Minare when I came to Konya, I knew nothing of this medresa, and it was a nice discovery. It has an interesting shape and decoration, also inside. Perhaps not as beautiful outside as Ince Minare, but I recall it was...More

If you are interested in antic objects, this is the place you should visit in Konya but don't expect visiting a huge or sophisticated museum. This in a simple and little but worth-visiting museum.

We did not have a great deal of time to spend here but looking at the ancient tiles was well worth a trip.

When you go there make sure you have your earphones playing "A sky full of stars" by Coldplay. Just a suggestion nobody forces you to do so, but if you pay attention to this humble suggestion then please do the same for the second one...More

The main entrance is under restoration. It is a smallish Madressa from Seljuk times which now houses a museum of Seljuk tile work. Included in the Museum Card

It’s a tile art museum. The tiles are remarkable blue with detailed paintings on each tiles. There’s many information about the tiles, and display lots of tiles.

Beautiful, elaborate tiles extend from side of walls all the way to the dome, very impressive. The museum also has a great collection of tiles from a royal family, as well as information on the life of a tile making master. Very interesting.

I like Iznik Tiles. When I visited Karatay Museum, I recognized that Konya has the oldest samples of tiles.
