Unless you visit Ani Ruins You cant understand Ermania Culture. Ani was a capital of Ermenia And the history of Ermenia was glorious in Ani After Ani You must visit Kars Province.

It is amazing piece of history but there is a lot of work need to be done to restore what is left of those churches and mosques .. there is no walking tracks

A city with every culture every church has a different atmosphere only the bad thing is that the treasure hunters dig too many places and if you are on your way to Kars, you should definitely visit them.

Local buses do leave from the corner of antik cafe but (Nov 2017) it leaves at 11. Just ask inside the cafe at what time will be bus arrive. It also depends on the amount of people. May there not be enough people, the bus... More
