We heard about this thanks to TAdvisor. We were not disappointed in our morning out looking at all the paintings on the walls of this pretty town. Bring your camera and get the taxi to wait for you as there are rarely taxis in this area for your return journey.
It was very beautiful and interesting place to visit. Main problem of it is that it's already "used". Most of the graffitis are cracked and the paint is falling away. So I think it's good idea to just take a look at photos, don't bother to go there by your own
Beautiful neighborhood with paintings in the walls, pay attention where you leave your car if driving it's a laberynth and you might get lost for a while
Great murals are must see if you are in Djerba. From the tourists zone you can get there by taxi paying max 10 dinar. I recommend the place .Some of them are in good conditions, some, unfortunately not, but walking around the walls is a really wonderful experience.
We just went for a random stroll, looking at many wall paintings. I'd recommend going when it's cooler. Shop owners were polite and did not push for sales.
