We did not stay long here as we visited it on our way out. There isn't much to look at as such except a tranquil lake and peaceful location. We were lucky it was not inundated with tourist when we arrived.

Ranisar and Padamsar / Ranisagar and Padamsagar are two twin lakes which are interconnected and situated within the Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. The lakes are huge and one can pass several moments sitting beside it. The serenity is inviting and gives a good feeling. Cleanliness...More

It is situated inskirt of city jodhpur where one can see and witness one of the amazing sun rise and sun set when sun rises from rear of fort mehrangarh and sets down opposite mountain.

Both lakes contain small amount of water which i dont think is used for drinking purpose. I was able to locate both the lakes during my visit to Mehrangarh Fort.
