It is a jyotirlinga but maintained very nicely.. area is clean .. they allow to do the darshan properly .. no pushing n all.. outside temple it is crowdy with lots of small shops/booksellers/eating joints etc.. but inside it is a very peaceful surrounding

Important temple for Hindus and also worshippers of Lord Shiva in India.Its a quaint little temple where the Gentlemen have to be bare chest ed when entering the Sanctum of the lord.Basic civic amenities like toilets drinking water etc missing.

It is one of the Jiyotirling of Lord Shiva. As this is temple male devotees are only allowed inside the temple without any clothes on upper part of the body. Camera's are not allowed inside the temple and there are no VIP or privileged entry...More

Last Jyotirling out of 12 jyotirlings. Very old and historical place. Temple was rennovated again 300 years ago by Ahilyadevi. Beautiful location near Ellora caves though the place around temple is not well maintained. Parking is available.
