Beautiful complex. ASI has lined up the statues aroiund the garden and a few inside the building. Restoration work happening alongside. Amazing to see such intricate craftsmanship.

Place is amazing that you now after reading thousands of reviews. Here is information about public transport availability. People here in badami will misguide you. There are government buses available from bus stand 1st bus for Aihole leaves at 7.15am. same for pattadukl.

Place to start visit to the circuit aihole patadakal makuta badami temple circuit. Aihole is a group of 108 temples clustered around aihole mist within main preserved complex. This was where chalukyas n later rasyrakutas experimented their different styles of temple design and architecture .

My sincere suggestion, don't have breakfast on way, u get awesome Jowar roti, curds, buttermilk, curry for just 40 RS, purely homemade by local female's. Worth trying anyday and experience of lifetime
