It was pretty quiet on the morning I was there. Perhaps this place comes alive in the evenings? I was not very impressed. There were several blocks of European-style residences, restaurants, snack shops and souvenir stalls.

If it is your first time in Harbin, you should visit Lao DaoWai, have a great place that does and sweet sugar food, (cannot remember the name), the area is full of history and one of my favourite places visit.
