Next to Angkor Wat this is one of the MUST when in Angkor, perhaps even more striking than Angkor Wat.

This temple is so beautiful. It is well worth visiting after Angkor Wat. It is said to have once been the city center. Getting to this temple is breathtaking itself. There are four gates to enter. The elephant terraces are right North of it.

A much smaller temple than Angkor Wat and the moat makes for a great photo. This temple was included in our tour along with Angkor Wat and Ta Prohm which you will recognise from the tomb raider movie.

This temple is incredible. The architecture is much more baroque with a lot of flourish and diverse architectural elements than the other temples in the area. Although more dilapidated than Angkor Wat, it is in much better condition than Ta Prohm. The intensity of the...More

The stone faces stare down at you from every direction with their mysterious and enigmatic smiles. From a distance, the temple does look like a huge heap of rubble, but as you near it you are mesmerized by the face towers that peer down from...More

Hi, it is inside the temple and you have to buy a ticket at main gate. Inside the temple complex, you will find many temples and historical sites. Take a tuc tuc and it will take you only 15 or so minutes

This sad story is all over the web. An elephant used for tourist rides has died of exhaustion at Angkor. As this is clearly not an issue of travel and tourism, but one of animal welfare and animal rights, I don't understand... More
