Not too far from Siem Reap, this busy temple is very old and takes 10 minutes to see but the view of Tonle Sap Lake (which virtually surrounds it during the rainy season) is beautiful, especially at sunset. The fun part is that many locals...More

It was a very busy place so we did see the sunset but it was for a short duration. You have to walk a bit and need to have stamina/be physically fit. For me it was worth the effort and visit to see spectacular sunset.

Need to walk downhill a few steps after the ruins, where you have a perfect view over Tonle Sap lake and lush rice fields facing west. We saw a perfect sunrise there. Advisable to bring a torch for the way back. Possible to drive up...More

Arrived like 5 mins after the sunset - so didn’t really see it. Not many tourists.... only 2-3 small groups when i was there. It was a bit of a climb up - so, factor that in mind when you go there. Could have cleared...More

My husband and I made a last minute decision to visit Phnom Krom. It is a longer hike to the top than we expected and we almost missed the sunset. Our suggestion is to leave your Siem Reap hotel about 2 hours before sunset so...More

More temples but this time they are in a quiet forest park area, that the locals use for picnics etc. The main temple is the one with the lion statues on either side at the front entrance. Went in and bought some incense sticks and...More

Spent a lovely afternoon out there for the sunset, down the hill behind the temple and it was amazing. Worth the climb and the walk. Stopped for a bite on the way back down and enjoyed dinner with locals and a parade of cows. Tuk...More

One of the most scenic places. On a high level hence a great view point to the floating villages and the beautiful houses on the valley. A great place to walk up the hill with friends, barbecue and biking. Great for photos and video shoots!...More

Ride a bike. I think 25min max. But the road is not so good, some more after sunset there is almost no street light to light up the roadside. Be careful. Take care
