This area on a long street contains quite a few statues and icons. At one end is the Lviv Opera House which is beautifully lit in the evening. The street boasts bars and restaurants on either side of the busy road.
This monument was the first monument i saw in my visit to Lviv, made me to stop taking picture, specially with Sprecher tenement house as the back ground.
It is one of the very central places in Lviv. I like the statue of famous Polish poem Adam Mickiewicz.
A 21 meter monument with a 3 meter statue of Adam Mickiewicz impresses. It is worth coming and being proud of one of the greatest Polish writers in history.
This monument is a focal point in the main market square! Adam Mickiewicz was a poet and a leading figure in the polish struggle for independence during the 19th century! The monument is a meeting point in the square!
