The best time to see the ships passing by is in the afternoon. However, the crowds are huge. Try to get there early to get a good spot to record the ships passing by. You can also have an expensive lunch and enjoy the view.

This is the place you must visit once of your life. You will see the maga ship passing through the canal and knew the history of the canal. Also, knowing the modern city of Panama.

As I live close to the Welland Canal in Canada I was very interested in visiting the Panama Canal. A very well setup facility and we enjoyed our visit. Do allow time to properly see the whole exhibit....I’d suggest 3 hours.

It was an okay experience, it was interesting to see the bridge go down so that the ships can pass. That takes a full 8 minutes because the gates move so slowly. Other than that for me it was not that great. It is just...More
