This memorial is located in central Sarajevo and there are many important tourist sites in the immediate area. A pedestrianised street leads from here to the old town.
Not surprisingly, to see the flame at its most impressive, visit at night.
This memorial is located on a busy triangular shaped intersection. While I found other Sarajevo sights quite moving and thought-provoking, this flame brought on none of those emotions.
If you are pressed for time in the city, this is not worth the stop.
