It’s a closed market, which sells cheap souvenirs of very bad quality. And the shopkeepers smoke inside!!!! Which makes it a gas camera where it is impossible to breathe + all items stink of cheap cigarettes. Strong Dislike

A beautiful old bazaar or bezistan built during Gazi Husrev Beg period. An architectural beauty in its design, plenty of shops in both sides with many entrance gates. They sell souvenirs, gifts, clothes, toys, gold and many others. It’s similar to Grand Bazaar in Istanbul....More

This reminded me of the souks I have visited in the Middle East, but lacking the charm. Full of tourist souvenir shops and shops selling imitation goods. If you want to go home with a fake Rolex, then this apparently is the place to go.

Walked in and very quickly walked out, just looked like a modern market selling fake, cheap goods on a large scale. A waste of a couple of minutes. A great venue which would could feature and promote the work of local artisans...but sadly no.

One of the oldest historic buildings in town dating back to the Ottomans. Built in 1555 as a market place it still has the same function. Very many unique shops selling brass and sliver items. Also many other shops interesting for foreign visitors. Pleasant contrast...More

Don't even bother to go there other than a photo op. There's nothing worth inside, only metal and brass work and fake bags and useless riff raffs

As soon as you walk in the cigarette smoke hits you in the face. Most shopkeepers were sat down smoking. It was all the same items, but in different shops and one or two places were selling the fake chinese handbags and wallets too. Outside...More

Located next to the Hotel Europe it was very convenient to me while staying there. Lots of the same things you can find in other places in the Old Town but it is a less hectic and more quiet place to shop.

Ghazi Husrev Bey's Bezistan (bedestan - covered market) represents a smaller variant of Istanbul's Kapali Carsi, or Grand Bazaar, but built among the same principles. Gives you a taste of Orient in the middle of Europe...
