I went to Suva to see the museum as I am interested in art. The museum is pretty small and has a really nice old drua. Upstairs are a few things but not all from Fiji, a bunchis from Tonga.

A shame that more investment has not been put in the only museum in Fiji. I liked the massive rafts & sections on Indians & Chinese populations although they could be developed more. Beautiful setting & was close to the GPH where we stayed. Recommended...More

Very interesting museum, and lovely gift shop! It’s located inside Thurston Park, which has some very impressive trees. We also enjoyed a refreshing cool drink at the Ginger Kitchen adjacent to the museum.

It’s not a bad museum but very little effort to maintain and really it’s only the museum in ALL OF FIJI so I feel like someone should make an effort to maintain and update. Just saying. Having said that it gives you a fairly good...More

This museum is full of historical interest, nicely laid out in small rooms, so it doesn't get overwhelming. Everything is well explained and I learned a lot about Fijian history and culture. There's a small, friendly gift shop and a lovely cafe on the wide...More

We spent an hour and half to visit all rooms of this museum, then we had a clear idea of the history of the islanders. Simple but interesting manufacture and fully explanations of the last century facts, that happened IN Fiji.

You most certainly can walk about 10 mn, it’s right across the Grand Pacific but a cab should take you there for less than 10 $
