You learn about how they rescue monkey from poachers and hunters and the rehabilitated them to go back in the wild, if they can. Having the monkeys greet you and walk with you in pretty amazing.

This place was most of the most amazing things I have ever experienced....Gilberto, his staff and volunteers do an amazing job with rehab of animals with hopes of returning them to their homes in the rainforest. My hat is off to these amazing people....

Sorry. Just got this now. The Amazon does flood. Not sure how much it affects Iquitos. Unfortunately this city is littered with trash nobody seems to care about. If there’s a flood this likely will go downstream.
