A haven of tranquility in the middle of the rush of Hong Kong. Sadly the outside was undergoing renovations, but one could still get the feel. The gardens opposite are worth a visit.

We visited this beautiful location on a Sunday morning but I think it would have offered a tranquil diversion from Hong Kong's business regardless of when we have gone. We were struck by the simplistic beauty. Bonsai trees elegantly trained and trimmed softening the square...More

Such a contrast to the busy city streets, and so peaceful. The Bonsai and river stones are amazing, the temple so serene. Well worth a visit and easy to get to on the Mtr.

Quiet and beautiful. Great place for a visit. Doesn't need a lot of time (an hour for both the nunnery and the garden unless you're stopping for food/drinks). And a nice break from the rest of Hong Kong.
