This temple was pretty big and helpfully had quite a lot of signs in English, explaining which deity each hall was dedicated to and even in the exhibition on Daoism, which helped to make it even more interesting.

I find it a little hard to understand everything the signage was lacking for everything on display but getting to see another religion in practice was fascinating for that reason alone its a must go

I was taken here by my Chinese hosts, one of whom was able to explain much about the Taoist religion and had visited here many times. It is an excellent temple which is still being used. Very impressive. Highly recommended.

A bit of a walk from the metro, but that might have contributed to the lack of tourists, a near miracle during the summer.

As an avid practitioner of tai chi, I could not resist the opportunity to visit a working Taoist temple. As other reviewers have mentioned, there is serenity there and much to be seen. I probably spent too much at the gift shop. Most intriguing for...More
