we went there around 1600 and were the only visitors at the site. Unlike other Luxor sites, there are palm trees around, which make for brighter photos. The site requires a little imagination, but is impressive.

From the entrance of the sight the view is spectacular and the inside fulfills all your expectations. Absolutely magnificent in and out. It is a long drive from any where but well worth it.

Consider visiting Seti's main temple in Abydos. Much larger, and very fine reliefs. Abydos is about 160 km away from Luxor.
