The Cairo Tower offers the best 360 view of Cairo. With the Nile River glistening in the afternoon sun, the view can only be described as magnificent. You can walk around the tower spotting your favorite landmarks like the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. Just one level below…
As with the Eiffel Tower, the view and photography is best from afar. I did appreciate the architecture and the Tower's prominence in the Cairo sky.
Went up to the top and enjoyed the view. Can see to the pyramids of Giza. Went to the restaurant, but was very disappointed at the shabby, old tables and booths. Not much except basic sandwiches and drinks to offer.
It was a little hard to find which seems ridiculous when the tower is 167m high but I was on foot. Choose a clear day and the 360-degree view out over Cairo is well worth the 200 EGP entrance fee.
It's always great to have a 360 degree view but the snog in Cairo is so massive you likely won't see the pyramids or all of the city. We did not wait but the elevator is tiny so I can see that it might take s good bit of time if they were busy.
