The neighbourhood has old buildings in a kind of german style. The main street has a lot of bars and restaurants. This street starts in the habour area and runs till the gardens.

Very nice street to walk in. Atmosphere is great. Some very nice coffee shops @ the main street. Reckoned to do a night tour as well.

Most people says it's boring place. But.. for some people like me, you gonna LOVE it. Not so touristy. Chill environment. Affordable accommodations. My favorite city in Israel.

This area is a foodies delight with restaurants along the whole of the street on either side and looking up to the magnificent gardens of the temple.

Hi There are some boutique hotels and hostels in and around the German Colony. But the main hotels are on top of the Carmel mountain. Not all sites are at walking distance. Buses are useful. Technion- not sure. If I can... More
