The main facade walls are built with variety of stones. It contains stones , bricks in different shapes. That gives it a mosaic look and is very attractive. Interior is great. Holy water jars made of marble stand out inside.

The mosque is really lovely. The church as originally but is older than the big Hagia Sophia. The space is really lovely. The best is the little tea shop and artisan shops attached to the mosque. We were able to buy all our hand made souvenirs there at ridiculously low prices.
