This place is another must visit in Istanbul. The tables of the many restaurants gather under the ceiling of this beautiful street turned into a sort of sea-food gallery with french arquitecture. Not cheap but very interesting and definitely beautiful.

We were wandering aimlessly, looking for somewhere to have dinner, and decided to take the next side turn. First impressions were good, so we chose one of the many restaurants. It shortly became apparent that the area was a favourite of large groups and gradually...More

I've read so many goed reviews about this place but being there I've felt disappointed. Just few restaurants, typical tourist place, food ok, very average. Good thing - they don't cheat with the money like in other streets round Taksim Square. It's ok to go...More

i love this place! it is in the heart of istiklal street. If you are coming from taksim it would be on your right. It has a vintage feel and is filled with tiny restaurants and cafes.

Super friendly, authentic turkısh restaurant in the middle of İstiklal street hidden in a pasaj, the flower pasaje is named after the formerly rich than poor Russian women already living here before war than having to sell flowers to survive.

My wife and I had an unforgettable night out on her Birthday with the locals, Turkish food and street musicians. The locals were dancing in the street until the lights went out!

Istanbul’s most famous street, pedestrianized Istiklal
Caddesi (Independence Avenue), throbs day and night
and offers a fantastic array of architectural sights,
shops, treats, and throngs upon teeming throngs of
people. At the avenue’s northeastern end is expansive
Taksim Square, thought by many to be the very heart of
the city, with many of Turkey’s most renowned
restaurants and some of Europe’s most happening
