Our tour guide explained to us briefly on the history of the monk and why the monument is built. One of my favourite and monument in HCM and it really gives a lot of impact to me emotionally.

This is such a beautiful monument and with an amazing backstory that I wasn't familiar with I highly suggest you visit this monument and pay your respects to a man who made the ultimate sacrifice.
