We went here a couple days ago. This medina was full of great shops selling all kinds of stuff. I'd recommend the argon oil products. The people were really friendly. Many/most spoke English.

The cultural experience of the Médina left we wanting more! The food and culture of the Médina gives you a first hand taste and experience of the richness ancient traditions in our modern day! I will return time and again.

This was a lot of fun. It’s exactly what you would expect. So many streets, very easy to get lost. Use Google maps to help, though it can still be tricky! Don’t recommend it at night. We ate late in the Medina one night and...More

Not for the squeamish! Fascinating look at real life in Fes - we could have spent hours wandering around but would surely have got lost in the narrow alley ways Well worth the visit, even if you are not buying

Yes you can visit Fez without a guide if you only want to explorer the Médina shopping area. If you want to explorer deeper and see the Palace, garden, tannery, Mount Zalagh.....you would be able to do these in one day, but... More

Perfect day to go check out the Roman Ruins or take an adventure out of town to some of the sites. The medina is really closed and you will be disappointed, as it is a very vibrant place when it is open.
