but the benches are tired, the pavement needs replacing/repair, and the whole circle is full of homeless people.
We need to find better options for them, and some maintenance of the area will make it better for everyone
Dupont circle is a great area to visit while in DC. You can metro downtown or spend lots of time search for parking depending on the day. Lots of great restaurants and landmarks to visit while down there.

But note there are plenty of squirrels and rats for dogs to chase. The neighborhood is quite dog friendly, and there's a great dog park at New Hampshire and S Streets, three blocks from Dupont Circle.
