MAybe it is not so famous as the other synagogues in the Jewish quater, but is one of the oldest and nicest.

This synagogue is named after its founder, Izaak Jakubowicz. Built in the mid 17th century! Loads of damage was down by the Nazis... cost 7 pln to gain entrance!

The restored Synagogue is worth a visit but, more likely to appeal to those with a special interest in Jewish culture over the centuries. Active again and nice to see.

This Synagogue is in regular worship services thanks to the Lubavitch Rabbi Gurary. this seem to be a place of worship, happiness and devotion. the structures and old paintings in the walls can only tell a little of the people that use to pray here...More

Isaac Synagogue is a lovely building located in Kazimierz District (Jewish Quarter) ul. Kupa 16. Worth a visit if you are walking around the area.

The Synagogue has been restored and is worth a visit but, unless you have a special interest, combine your visit with a 1-hour Klezmer Music Concert. Check the times at the tourist office (where you can book a ticket) but they are usually at 6pm...More
