Excellent experience in a historic riverfron town. Exceptional views of the castle and many great restaurants and stores. Everything was quite resonably priced. A great location to spend a day or two.

Cesky Krumlov was one of our favorite stops on our Danube River cruise. Even off season it was a bit crowded but worth the time it took to get there. The old town is below the castle and rimmed by a river so it's really...More

Cesky Krumlov is a huge tourist magnet, which makes things colorful and easy for travelers. Lassoed by its river and dominated by its castle, this enchanting town feel lost in a time warp. At times it can feel like a medieval theme park - but...More

This city is very walkable with many great food options and tours. We particularly liked the Baroque theater and the gardens of the castle.

Beautiful setting however Major difficulty getting a chance to take pictures of the very picturesque architecture and scenery...due to very large groups (from afar) taking many pictures at the main areas...maybe it's just a timing thing...

During the day, the town is packed with tourists and many seem to forget common courtesy as soon as they get off their buses. Once they leave to invade the next site, you can enjoy the quiet streets and alleys, just like the locals.

All the requirements for a medieval town! A wonderful castle, moat and bears, fabulous churches with spectacular spires, a charming river around a orange tiled town with an ever changing skyline, great dining and winning views, picture perfect photo stops, access to caves, mountains, and...More

Sensational views from every angle from this incredible castle. Why don’t the council charge everyone 5 euros to enter this glorious historical site? Thousands of tourists and entry free to magnificent grounds, gardens and views. Just a suggestion?..

There is no parking in the center. There are two pay parking lots on the outskirts. In order to take your car to the center of town you have to purchase a permit and it is only good for 30 minutes. Just enough time to unload... More
