EXPLORE’S HALF-DAY HILL INLET CRUISE We took a half-day (4hr) afternoon cruise to Hill Inlet, which we’d never done before despite several trips to the Whitsundays and a couple of cruises to Whitehaven Beach. It’s a relatively new thing, taking people to the northern tip...More

We took a half day (morning) cruise with the explore group. The boat is nice and clean and the crew VERY friendly and efficient. The cruise will pass along Whitehaven Beach, but actually not physically visit the beach itself. Instead it visits the Inlet, where...More

Unbelievable views! Easy walk with steps. Fine to do in thongs or sandals. There are a couple of different platforms. Lots and lots of people but you will get your chance to take that special snap.

I took a shore excursion trip on a jet boat to visit Whitehaven beach and specifically Hill Inlet. The trip there is the fastest but very noisy and windy and you can feel very cold after swimming. There is NO worthwhile snorkelling with only a...More

Marvelous way to start the day with a cruise to Hill Inlet. Anthony and his staff looked after everyone so well! We had a short walk once off the boat to see spectacular views. Betty’s Beach is pristine. Highly recommend!

Once you walk up the stone steps and thru bushland, and past a few golden orb spider webs, you get to Hill Inlet, with platforms for viewing the magnificent Whitsundays. Loved it. Dont forget the sunscreen.

Batt Reef is off Port Douglas which is no where near Hill Inlet. Why didn't you google it before putting a posting on here?

Whitehaven Xpress caters for toddlers well in an enclosed vessel with outdoor seating also - family owned. Also Cruise Whitsundays has larger vessels and is god for toddlers.

Cruise Whitsundays does tours from Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island, this is the company I used and they have a variety of other tours available too.
