Always a pretty place to be - the white sails and the scenic tree lined harbour. The restaurants and cafes are all worth ticking off each visit. Many lovely little walks on the water edge

A well worthwhile walk, a few ups and downs but great views between Manly and the Spit bridge. Worth a stop at Sandy Bear cafe before completing the trip. Some parts of the track were a bit muddy so wear appropriate foot wear.

While the opening and closing of the bridge to allow sea traffic is a sight for the tourists, this May seem to be a pain for the ones taking this route.

Generally very crossable but when span is opened for boat traffic, is anything but. If we had a committed State government, this could be rectified for much less the cost of a new but unnecessary stadium and light rail to it.

Some parts are a little steep and narrow and a certain fitness level is recommended as it's 2-3 hours of walking with a few steep areas. Beautiful views and a great bush location within easy reach of busses.

At certain times of day the middle of the bridge swings open to let sail boats cross the water below. This takes maybe 5-10 minutes during which time traffic across the bridge stops while the boats sail past. Annoying if you are in a rush,...More

Took a bus from CBD to Spit Bridge, then walked to Manly. It took me around 3.5 hours as I walked leisurely and made quite a few stops to take photos. I was surprised at how quickly the weather changed. It was bright, warm and...More

No. There are sections that could be accessed, but in parts the track is reasonably rugged.

I suggest searching for Manly Wharf NSW. This is where you either start or finish depending on which direction you take. It is also where you get on or off the ferry from Circular Quay in the city.
